CLOTHING
✨ Washing
For most Maison Limadial ready-to-wear pieces, we recommend hand washing at low temperature, or machine washing at a maximum of 30°C (86°F). This is essential to preserve the beauty and longevity of your garments.
✨ Spinning
This is often where things can go wrong… Always choose a gentle spin cycle. A spin that’s too strong can damage the fibers and cause shrinkage, especially with delicate fabrics like knits, linen, or viscose.
✨ Drying
Ideally, lay your garments flat or hang them to air dry naturally. Avoid tumble drying, which could cause your favorite pieces to shrink.
✨ Ironing
Opt for gentle ironing on the reverse side. Keep the iron at a safe distance from the fabric. The best option? A steamer, which relaxes the fibers softly and safely.
✨ Viscose, cotton, cotton gauze, linen
These natural, delicate fabrics deserve special care. When exposed to water, their fibers may contract—a completely normal phenomenon. No need to worry: simply smooth the fabric gently, stretching it lightly. The fibers will relax, and your garment will look as good as new.
✨ Knits
Never dry your knits on a hanger—they may stretch and lose their shape. Prefer hand washing, then let them dry flat on a towel for at least 15 minutes to absorb excess water. Finally, lay them flat in the open air until completely dry.
✨ Jeans
For your first wash, clean your jeans separately in the machine. They may bleed a little dye at first, which is completely normal.
BAGS
✨ For our suede-finish leather bags, we recommend applying a light mist of waterproofing spray. This will help protect them from water spots and daily wear.
SHOES
✨ For leather or suede-finish shoes, a light coat of waterproofing spray will help keep them beautiful, even in the rain.
✨ For sneakers, a quick wipe with a magic sponge is enough to make them shine and remove everyday dirt.
